Failure is not having the courage to try. Nothing more, nothing less. . This isn't a glory post. I lost my fight and i got stopped in the 2nd. It happens, its the fight game. In muay thai (with MMA gloves) you will never be undefeated especially if you are fighting top level opponents. You will never have a perfect record. . That night i got beat by the better guy on the day. Simple. . With one championships weigh-in regulations im unable to fight at my preferred weight of 66/67kg so i stepped up to 70kg. And took on one of the worlds best and current fighters right now. The size and weight made a difference. He was very strong and powerful and it made a big difference in the ring and I was unable to match it. . All my thanks and love to @philiptieu for his continued support and effort with me, im Sorrry it didn't turn out on the night. . We can increase our odds of victory through hard work, sweat, pain and tears. 70/30, 80/20, 90/10 …. no matter what your chances are, there will always be a risk. Just as in life, our sport does not have a direct path to success. There are many ups and downs, joys and sorrows and come backs. I'm willing to walk this walk no matter how hard it can be. I Won my fight last night on @onechampionship I felt very comfortable and could have pressured a bit more for the KO as I believe I was in control and hurting my opponent at will, however wanted to fight smart and not take unnecessary risks whilst I was comfortable scoring. I have learnt so much in this fight and will use it to continue to learn and grow. Very happy with my performance and loved every minute of the experience/challenge.
