Rodtang holds an open workout ahead of The Inner Circle 38

Former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon gave the media a glimpse of his preparations during an open workout at Jitmuangnon Gym in Nonthaburi, Thailand, on Wednesday, October 28.

The 29-year-old Thai megastar displayed his trademark intensity as he sharpened his weapons ahead of his highly anticipated showdown with legendary former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama.

The two icons will finally collide in the 2026-2027 ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix quarterfinals at The Inner Circle 38 on Friday, November 13, live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, streaming exclusively for members at live.onefc.com.

Originally scheduled to meet at ONE 173 last November, Rodtang and Nong-O now have the opportunity to settle their unfinished business, with a place in the tournament semifinals and a step toward World Title glory at stake.

One of the most electrifying strikers in Muay Thai history, Rodtang has amassed 274 career victories and a 17-3 record in ONE Championship, captivating audiences with his relentless aggression, granite chin, and devastating punching combinations.

The #2-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender previously ruled the division for five years, successfully defending his ONE World Title five times before being stripped of the crown in 2024.

Now, following his return to ONE Championship under a new contract earlier this year, the Jitmuangnon Gym representative is determined to reclaim his place at the summit.

His latest preparations have included intensive conditioning and training alongside fellow Thai standout Nuenglanlek Jitmuangnon, as he readies himself for a potentially career-defining battle with one of his childhood heroes.

Nong-O: A Childhood Idol Becomes A Formidable Rival

Standing in Rodtang’s path is a man whose extraordinary career helped inspire an entire generation of Thai fighters.

At 39, Nong-O remains one of Muay Thai’s most revered figures, with 268 professional victories and eight ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title wins to his name.

The #3-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender has since set his sights on becoming a two-division ONE World Champion, bringing his exceptional timing, technical mastery, and punishing right kicks into a new championship pursuit.

For Rodtang, the matchup carries special significance. He grew up admiring Nong-O’s skills and considers the contest an opportunity to test himself against a master of the sport.

But once the opening bell rings, mutual respect will give way to fierce competition as two of Thailand’s greatest modern strikers battle for a place in the Grand Prix semifinals.

Here are some photos of Rodtang from his October 28 open workout at Jitmuangnon Gym in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
