Lumpinee and Omnoi Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Nuenglanlek Jitmuangnon is originally from Kalasin Province in Thailand’s northeastern Isaan region. He is the son of farmers, and he began training in Muay Thai at the age of six at his father’s insistence. Nuenglanlek then stepped into the ring for his first bout shortly thereafter. After becoming fully immersed in the life of a martial artist, he decided when he was 10 years old that he would devote his life to Muay Thai.
When he was 15 years old, Nuenglanlek moved to the capital city of Bangkok to train at the famed Jitmuangnon Gym and compete in Thailand’s biggest arenas. By the time he was in his early twenties, he had already amassed well over 100 bouts and won World Titles on some of the biggest stages in Thailand, including the famed Lumpinee and Omnoi Stadiums.
His list of past opponents features many of the biggest names in the sport, including Yodlekpet T-ded 99, Muangthai PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym, and Sangmanee Sor Tienpo. He now looks forward to facing the very best strikers in the world in ONE Super Series, and he intends to make the most of his chance to achieve international superstardom.
