On Tuesday, the world’s largest martial arts organization officially released the six-fight card for ONE: BATTLEGROUND III, a previously recorded show that airs from the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Friday, 27 August.

The main event features striking maestros Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong and Tawanchai PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym, who’ve agreed to meet in a ONE Super Series featherweight Muay Thai contest after their original opponents were forced to withdraw.

The winner of this showdown could line himself up for a World Title opportunity – Sitthichai against featherweight Muay Thai king Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy or Tawanchai moving down a weight class to challenge bantamweight Muay Thai titleholder Nong-O Gaiyanghadao.

In the co-main event, newly signed Chinese mixed martial artist “The Prince” Banma Duoji will make his highly anticipated promotional debut.

Banma, one of his nation’s fastest-rising stars, will be eager to make a strong first impression when he takes on former ONE Strawweight World Champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke.

Also on the card is Banma’s countryman, “The Hunter” Xie Wei, who has established himself as China’s top flyweight mixed martial artist.

Xie is riding a two-bout winning streak, having finished both Chan Rothana and Kantharaj “Kannadiga” Shankar Agasa by TKO. He will be gunning for the hat trick in Singapore against former ONE World Title challenger “Ottogi” Dae Hwan Kim.

Elsewhere on the card, Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen will look to build off her victory over wrestling sensation Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat, but standing in her way is Team Lakay’s Jenelyn Olsim, who is making her atomweight debut.

Aung La N Sang’s protege, “The Dragon Leg” Tial Thang, will attempt to keep his undefeated record intact in Singapore, but ONE Championship veteran “Double Hearts” Song Min Jong is hoping to end that perfect run.

And in the opening contest, Purev “The People’s Kid” Otgonjargal will make his debut against surging Englishman Ben Royle. The Mongolian owns a submission victory over ONE Warrior Series graduate Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg and will bring a seven-fight winning streak into this bout.
