‘He’s Coming For The Knockouts’ – Nutritionist Peter Miller Hails Rodtang’s Renewed Hunger Ahead Of Nong-O Clash

Former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon is preparing for his highly anticipated clash with Nong-O Hama, and his longtime nutritionist believes the Thai megastar has rediscovered his hunger.

Peter Miller, the man behind Condition Nutrition who has worked closely with Rodtang on his nutrition, has been impressed by the 29-year-old’s commitment ahead of his ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix quarterfinal bout at The Inner Circle 38 on Friday, November 13.

The two icons will finally collide at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium after their originally scheduled World Title showdown at ONE 173 in November 2025 was canceled when Rodtang fell ill shortly after successfully making weight and passing hydration testing.

For “The Iron Man,” the upcoming battle also represents another opportunity to rebuild momentum following a challenging period. He lost his divisional crown after missing weight for his November 2024 bout against Jacob Smith and suffered a fifth-round TKO defeat to Takeru Segawa this past April.

Having witnessed his preparation firsthand, Miller believes the former flyweight king is approaching this challenge with renewed enthusiasm.

He told onefc.com:

“He’s trained really hard. I couldn’t be happier with the discipline and motivation he’s had. He’s been following his diet plan, he’s been following his training plan 100 percent. So, it makes my job really easy.

“He’s very motivated, and I can see that in him. His mood and enthusiasm for this fight are probably the best I’ve seen, so I’m very happy.”

Rodtang established himself as one of the most recognizable figures in Muay Thai history, having successfully defended the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title five times during his five-year reign. His fearsome aggression, relentless pressure, and remarkable durability have made him a global superstar, but he now faces another demanding chapter in his decorated career.

Standing across from him will be former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O, a legendary technician who defended his divisional crown seven times before moving down to flyweight. A victory would move Rodtang into the Grand Prix semifinals and bring him another step closer to reclaiming the flyweight Muay Thai throne currently occupied by Asadula Imangazaliev.

Miller, who has developed a close relationship with Rodtang over the years, sees encouraging signs in the Thai’s attitude and commitment throughout his latest training camp.

He said:

“This time, it’s like a new Rodtang. He’s motivated. It’s like a new beginning for him, and it’s really happy to see because I’ve got a really good relationship with him.

“He’s really motivated with the plan, following everything. We’re always checking in with each other to check that everything’s going to plan, and it is. So I’m very happy. He’s in a really good place.”

Rodtang will now have the chance to translate that preparation into action against one of the most accomplished Muay Thai fighters of his generation.

And Miller believes fans could witness a rejuvenated version of “The Iron Man” when he steps back into the ring.

The nutritionist said:

“I think the Thai fans are expecting a new motivated Rodtang now. A new start, a new beginning, a happy Rodtang in a good place physically and mentally.

“He’s coming for the knockouts, and I am pretty confident he’s going to do that.”
