ONE Championship’s first show in Bangkok, Thailand of 2019 looks set to be an unmissable affair.
In addition to the main event bout for the ONE Super Series Muay Thai Bantamweight World Title between Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Han Zi Hao, seven more mixed martial arts and ONE Super Series match-ups have been confirmed for ONE: CLASH OF LEGENDS.
The event will take place on Saturday, 16 February at the Impact Arena.
Fittingly for the promotion’s return to the land of the art of eight limbs, there will be plenty of Muay Thai action on the bill.
On the main card, multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion Kongsak P.K. Saenchaimuaythaigym will make his ONE debut against Alaverdi Ramazanov.
Kongsak will be favored by the home fans in his native land, but his Russian opponent has silenced them once before. In his maiden bout in the world’s largest martial arts organization, he defeated Petchmorrakot Petchyindee Academy at ONE: KINGDOM OF HEROES.
The two are scheduled to compete in the ONE Kickboxing Featherweight World Grand Prix, but before they enter the tournament bracket, they will face off under Muay Thai rules.
Jihin was one of the breakout stars of 2018, but she will have to step up a level to prevail against the Team Lakay standout, who has almost three times as many professional contests under her belt than her rival.
More bouts will be announced for ONE: CLASH OF LEGENDS in the coming days and weeks.
The lineup so far is listed below.
Kongsak P.K. Saenchaimuaythaigym VS Alaverdi Ramazanov – Muay Thai bantamweight bout
Jo Nattawut VS Samy Sana – Muay Thai featherweight bout
