ONE Friday Fights 177 Co-Main Event Result: Superball Storms Onto The Global Stage With Liver-Shot Finish Of Saksri
Superball Sitcho made the most of his maiden opportunity to compete on the global stage, announcing himself in emphatic fashion with a first-round liver shot against Saksri Superlek Muaythai in the flyweight Muay Thai co-main event of ONE Friday Fights 177.
Live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, November 6, the all-Thai showdown was thrilling while it lasted.
Despite this being his first fight in 4-ounce gloves Muay Thai, the 24-year-old promotional newcomer looked right at home, bursting out of the gates on dynamic footwork that set up a one-two and a crisp leg kick.

His finesse didn’t stop there, either. Next came a spinning side kick, with a clean elbow following right behind it. The Sitcho martial artist was clearly enjoying himself out there, and he was in no mood to make the night a long one.
Saksri had other ideas, at least for a moment. He did catch a teep and answered with a left hook of his own, but that was the only significant shot he landed all night. Superball soon swarmed him with a three-punch combination upstairs, then finished the job with a liver shot to his open midsection.
The fight was stopped at 1:42 of round one, with Saksri on the canvas and unable to continue. The statement victory lifted Superball to 71-30 and added another exciting name to watch in the weekly series.
