ONE Championship is set to close the book on its NO SURRENDER event series this coming Friday, 21 August.
A dozen martial arts superstars will showcase their world-class skills at ONE: NO SURRENDER III in Bangkok, Thailand, and all the bouts are guaranteed to deliver thrills from beginning to end.
Before you watch these warriors display their stunning techniques in the ring on Friday, take a moment to find out some surprising facts about them.
Kulabdam Is A True Country Boy
“Left Meteorite” Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai does not enjoy living in the big city.
The Thai southpaw called Bangkok home for a little over a year, but he did not like the noise and the chaotic environment of “The Angel City.”
So, he moved back to the Thai countryside in the Surin province, began training at the Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai camp, and now goes to Bangkok for his Muay Thai bouts.
Sangmanee Made History As A Teenager
“The Million Dollar Baby” Sangmanee Klong SuanPluResort accomplished one of the rarest feats in Muay Thai when he was a teenager.
At the tender age of 15, he became the youngest athlete to win the Sports Writers Association Of Thailand Fighter Of The Year award.
Sangmanee still holds that prestigious record to this day.

Wiratchai Trained A Famous Singer
Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai may not be a famous singer, but he has helped a popular musician with his martial arts technique.
In 2017, the Thai mixed martial arts pioneer had a training session with multi-platinum recording artist Michael Bolton.
Wiratchai taught the American some Muay Thai techniques, and though the session was brief, it has become a memory that will last a lifetime.
Pinca Loves To Surf
When multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion Fabio Pinca isn’t training at the gym, then he could probably be found at the beach with a surfboard under his arm.
On a sunny day, the Frenchman loves nothing more than to swim into the ocean and ride the waves.
Perhaps after winning a World Title in mixed martial arts, he could turn his attention to conquering yet another sport.

Wondergirl Fairtex is making her promotional debut on Friday, but Muay Thai and heroic nicknames run in her family.
The 21-year-old strawweight actually has a 16-year-old sister who goes by the name Supergirl Jaroonsak Muaythai, and she is also a champion in “the art of eight limbs.”
