Nat “Wondergirl” Jaroonsak

Nat “Wondergirl” Jaroonsak was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, alongside her sister Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak.

She was shy and quiet as a child, despite her father’s reputation as a skilled Muay Thai competitor. Teased and picked on for her unusual height and passion for Muay Thai, the youngster struggled with her peers until she began to stand up for herself.

Despite coming from a Muay Thai household and training from the age of 6, she did not pursue the sport seriously until later in life.

When she decided to fully commit to training and competing, her father wanted to make her more marketable in Thailand. So, he gave her the nickname “Wondergirl” after a K-pop group that was popular in the country at the time.

In just a few short years, the Jaroonsak Muaythai athlete amassed more than 50 Muay Thai bouts and captured two national titles. By mid-2020, she signed with ONE Championship.

After competing in three Muay Thai fights with the world’s largest martial arts organization, “Wondergirl” switched her focus to MMA. In her debut in the all-encompassing sport, she submitted India’s Zeba Bano in the first round.

Despite her transition to MMA, “Wondergirl” remains confident in her striking abilities, especially in her right hand.

In fact, she’ll carry her hand skills into her next bout — a mixed rules showdown against Brazilian MMA star Dayane Cardoso at ONE Fight Night 19.
