Top King Muay Thai World Champion Zhang Chenglong comes from a family of martial artists, with his grandfather, father, and brother all being professional competitors. As a result, he knew from an early age that he wanted to follow in their footsteps and began training in sanda and Muay Thai from the age of 12.
After middle school, Zhang decided to pursue his martial arts dreams full-time and moved to Thailand, where he began training and competing against elite opponents from an early age. By the time Zhang was 19 years old, he had already built up a wealth of experience, having faced huge names the likes of Longchai, Kiatpetch, and Singdam Kiatmoo9 in the ring.
When Zhang returned from Thailand, he chose not to return home, instead moving to Shenzhen to train at the Shengli Fight Club under a coach who formerly worked with Japanese kickboxing legend Masato. He went on to compete all around the world to great success and now makes his way to the global stage of ONE Championship. Zhang has utterly devoted his life to his martial arts career, and he is determined to make a name for himself by becoming the best striker in the world.
