Bokang Masunyane meets Hiroba Minowa at ONE 159 on July 22

A pair of World Title showdowns were previously announced for ONE Championship’s next live event. Now, the rest of the 12-bout card has officially been unveiled.

The world’s largest martial arts organization returns to the Singapore Indoor Stadium with ONE 159: De Ridder vs. Bigdash on Friday, 22 July, and the supporting lineup features former World Champions, top-five contenders, and rising stars who are yearning for their chances at glory.

ONE 159 includes a tantalizing MMA fight on the main card between highly regarded strawweights, as #2-ranked Bokang Masunyane takes on #3-ranked Hiroba Minowa.

Each grappling specialist is looking to climb the talent-rich division, and a win would move them closer to a crack at reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua Pacio or upcoming World Title challenger Jarred Brooks.

Another thrilling strawweight MMA fight will kick off the main card, as former WMC Muay Thai World Champion “Mini T” Danial Williams collides with ONE Hero Series China alum Zelang Zhaxi.

Following his epic all-striking brawl with ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Williams focused on his MMA pursuits and achieved quick success. He finished former strawweight king Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke and then decimated DEEP Strawweight Champion Namiki Kawahara.

Now, he goes for his third straight victory against Zelang, who brings more MMA experience into the battle. The Chinese athlete has 16 wins on his resume, owns an 83 percent finishing rate, and is motivated to make a splash in his main roster debut.

ONE 159 will also feature some intriguing matchups in the striking arts, including a bantamweight Muay Thai barnburner between Muangthai PK.Saenchai and Vladimir Kuzmin.

Muangthai, a multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion, returned from his two-year absence to face British superstar Liam Harrison in April and engaged in one of the most exciting rounds ever witnessed in the Circle.

Although the Thai lost to Harrison, he intends to jump back into the win column in highlight-reel fashion. To do that, he must defeat the surging Kuzmin, who stunned Chris Shaw in his promotional debut this past February.

The main card also features the return of #2-ranked strawweight Muay Thai contender Aslanbek Zikreev, who is best known for ripping apart former ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title challenger “Golden Boy” Wang Junguang in November 2020.

Zikreev will meet “Fighting Rooster” Zhang Peimian, the Road To ONE: China winner who finished former ONE World Title challenger Josh Tonna in his promotional debut this past March. If he can upset the Russian, then Zhang could potentially line himself up for a ONE World Title opportunity.

In addition to that, the lead card will include former ONE Featherweight World Champion Marat Gafurov, former ONE World Title challenger Islam Murtazaev, Costa Rican sensation Ariel Sexton, grappling phenom Jessa Khan, and much more.
