2 More Bouts Announced For ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY In KL

The lineup for ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY has been completed with the announcement of two exciting contests.

These mixed martial arts and ONE Super Series match-ups will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Friday, 12 July.

First, in the women’s atomweight division Myanmar’s Bozhena “Toto” Antoniyar (2-1) will return against Vietnamese-American rising star Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen (5-3).

Yangon’s Antoniyar is a two-time national boxing champion and will aim to use her heavy hands to maintain her 100-percent finishing rate as a mixed martial artist.

The 24-year-old Bali MMA and Team Toto representative will come into this match off the back of a second-round finish of Audreylaura “Ice Comet” Boniface at ONE: REIGN OF VALOR in March.

Nguyen made a successful debut on the global stage in April when she stopped Dwi Ani Retno Wulan inside the first round at ONE: ROOTS OF HONOR.

The 29-year-old was born in Vietnam and moved to the USA when she was 6, but now trains out of Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand.

Also on the ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY undercard, Josh “Timebomb” Tonna (32-17) will take on Yoshihisa “Mad Dog” Morimoto.

Tonna is a product of Stockade Training Centre and an ISKA K-1 World Champion who earned his first win in the world’s largest martial arts organization against Joseph “The Hurricane” Lasiri last year.

The 31-year-old from Canberra will welcome his Japanese rival, 28, from Bring It On Paraestra AKK in Tokyo to ONE for the first time.

These four athletes will join the supporting cast for the event at the Axiata Arena, which features two main events – Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy vs.Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan II and “Unstoppable” Angela Lee vs. Michelle Nicolini.
