Multiple-time Muay Thai and kickboxing World Champion Tarik Khbabez began training in karate at just 6 years old, and he soon added boxing to his arsenal as well. Driven by a competitive fire, Khbabez dropped out of school when he turned 16, and dedicated himself to pursuing his dreams of international glory as a professional kickboxer.
Khababez originally represented the famed Vos Gym under Ivan Hipppolyte, but now trains under Maikel Polanen at ARJ Trainingen. Despite being only in his 20s, he has compiled an excellent record of more than 40 wins – with more than half of them coming by way of stunning knockout – to capture numerous world titles along the way.
This earned him a place among the world’s best strikers in ONE Super Series, and he is determined to make the most of this incredible opportunity to showcase his skills on the global stage. Above all, he hopes to add a ONE World Title to an already-impressive trophy cabinet comprising of two SUPERKOMBAT Heavyweight World Championships, a WKA Kickboxing World Title, and five World Muay Thai Council World Championships.
