One of the first athletes from Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series to make it to the global stage of ONE Championship, Dae Sung Park comes from an extensive background in freestyle wrestling.
Having already completed his mandatory military service in Korea, he is fully committed to his mixed martial arts career, and trains diligently at the MOB Training Center in Seoul’s famed Gangnam District under former ONE athlete Bae Yong Kwon. Park made his professional cage debut in Japan in 2013, and quickly established himself as a talent to watch with his brash personality and several impressive wins.
This earned him a spot on the very first season of Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series, where he won a place on the ONE Championship roster with a quick first-round TKO of Eto Kimihiro. He then made the most of his debut on the global stage, putting in a complete performance over three rounds to defeat Filipino veteran Trestle Tan via unanimous decision.
