Three Epic Striking Battles Added To ONE On Prime Video 6, Including Ennahachi Vs. Superlek II

Ilias Ennahachi fights Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE: FISTS OF FURY

A trio of exciting bouts have just been announced for ONE on Prime Video 6 on Friday, January 13, and they all come with some history to fuel the fire.

The new matchups will be fought under Muay Thai and kickboxing rules, which is fitting for ONE Championship’s big return to Bangkok, Thailand – the most revered hub for striking arts in the world.

The ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title fight between Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Alaverdi Ramazanov was already confirmed as the main event, and the fresh additions will add more elite stand-up specialists to the mix.

ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Ilias Ennahachi and Thai superstar Superlek Kiatmoo9 will meet for the second time in a rematch of their World Title clash at ONE: FISTS OF FURY in February 2021.

Reigning king Ennahachi took the nod via the closest of margins in that first encounter, although many believed “The Kicking Machine” had done enough to dethrone the Dutch-Moroccan.

Ennahachi hopes to end that debate with a more emphatic victory over his #2-ranked foe, but with the roar of the Thai crowd at the Impact Arena behind him, Superlek’s motivation will be sky-high.

“The Kicking Machine” has gone on an impressive win streak since that loss, and he’ll also compete in the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix Championship Final against Panpayak Jitmuangnon at ONE 164 next month.

If he wins the tournament’s prestigious silver belt, Superlek will be even more confident when he challenges Ennahachi for kickboxing gold.

British Muay Thai superstar Liam Harrison is back in business following his unsuccessful challenge for Nong-O’s belt in August.

“The Hitman’s” leg blew out in the first round of his World Title quest, but the #4-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender has recovered from the subsequent surgery and is eager to jump back into the Circle.

At ONE on Prime Video 6, he’ll face Pongsiri PK.Saenchai, who’s hoping to get some revenge for his Bangkok-based gym.

Earlier this year, Harrison stopped Pongsiri’s teammate Muangthai PK.Saenchai in the most thrilling round of Muay Thai ever seen in ONE Championship. Now, Pongsiri can settle the score and climb into the division’s rankings.

A final grudge match will see Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak and Ekaterina “Barbie” Vandaryeva square off in a rematch of their January 2022 bout at ONE: HEAVY HITTERS.

“Supergirl” took the win via split decision in their original meeting, but the Belarusian believed she’d done enough after a blistering second round where she nearly put her foe on the canvas.

Vandaryeva will be out for redemption against her Thai rival in their strawweight Muay Thai contest, but like both Harrison and Ennahachi, she’ll have to do it in front of a Bangkok crowd that will be heavily in her opponent’s favor.

Alongside Nong-O vs. Ramazanov and Stamp Fairtex vs. Anissa Meksen in a mixed rules super-fight, these three contests will add plenty of spice to the proceedings at the Impact Arena.
