Chingiz Allazov Joins ONE’s Stacked Featherweight Kickboxing Division

Two-time K-1 World Champion Chingiz Allazov joins ONE Championship

ONE Championship has beefed up its deep featherweight kickboxing ranks with another top signing.

On Thursday, 14 January, two-time K-1 World Champion Chingiz Allazov officially put pen to paper with the world’s largest martial arts organization.

Allazov owns a staggering 56-4-1 professional record, with 34 victories coming by way of knockout.

The Minsk, Belarus, resident has earned many accolades throughout his storied career. The biggest victories took place at the world-famous Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan, back in June 2017.

That night, Allazov beat Hiroki Nakajima, knocked out Jordann Pikeur, and then outworked Yasuhiro Kido to win the 2017 K-1 World Grand Prix Super Welterweight Championship Tournament. He was also awarded the K-1 Super Welterweight World Title.

In addition to defeating those three accomplished strikers, the 27-year-old holds wins over superstars like Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee, Dzhabar “Genghis Khan” Askerov, Enriko “The Hurricane” Kehl, and ONE’s #2-ranked lightweight kickboxing contender, Mustapha “Dynamite” Haida.

Allazov is now entering the ONE Super Series featherweight kickboxing division, which is loaded with top names like #2-ranked contender Superbon, #5-ranked Tayfun “Turkish Turbine” Ozcan, Davit KiriaJonay Risco, and “The Boxing Computer” Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex.

The Belarus native could also seek some redemption against three men who’ve defeated him – #1-ranked Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan, #3-ranked Marat Grigorian, and #4-ranked Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong.

A date has not been confirmed for Allazov’s grand premiere on the global stage, but stay tuned to ONEFC.com for more details.
