Liam Harrison To Face Seksan In Clash Of Muay Thai Legends At ONE 168: Denver On September 6

Liam “Hitman” Harrison and “The Man Who Yields to No One” Seksan Or Kwanmuang have finally put pen to paper on one of the most sought-after battles in combat sports.

On Friday, September 6, the Muay Thai legends will square off in a 140-pound catchweight bout that has all the makings of a classic at ONE 168: Denver.

The event at Colorado’s Ball Arena is ONE’s highly anticipated return to the United States, and it’s hard to imagine a more exciting all-striking showdown for the North American primetime audience.

As a former Rajadamnern Stadium and WBC Muay Thai World Champion, Seksan was already a revered figure in “the art of eight limbs,” but his star power exploded internationally when he began competing at ONE Friday Fights in January 2023.

The 35-year-old Thai notched six straight wins at the weekly Asia primetime event series to earn a six-figure contract on ONE’s global roster. He then bagged two more victories before suffering his first defeat against Yutaro Asahi last time out.

Though his 8-1 slate in 15 months is impressive enough, Seksan largely won the hearts of fans through his inimitable fighting style. “The Man Who Yields To No One’s” relentless pressure and aggression result in nonstop action every time he competes.

In Harrison, he’ll meet an opponent who’s willing to stand his ground and go toe-to-toe.

The three-time Muay Thai World Champion from England has been competing against elite opponents for decades, establishing himself as one of the best foreign fighters in the sport.

With two huge knockouts in ONE – including an epic comeback win over Muangthai “Elbow Zombie” PK Saenchai – Harrison has showcased both his firepower and his heart on the big stage.

The Brit is also known as an aggressive fighter who constantly brings the heat with all of his weapons, so don’t expect a backward step from either man on September 6.

Aware they’re coming into the latter stages of their respective careers, both Seksan and Harrison had expressed their interest in facing off while they still have the chance. Now, that matchup is coming to fruition on September 6.

In the meantime, Harrison will make his long-awaited return from injury against Katsuki Kitano at ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga on Prime Video on June 7, and he’ll hope to be back firing on all cylinders for an all-out war with “The Man Who Yields To No One.”
