Aung La N Sang Vs. Fan Rong Rescheduled For ONE Fight Night 10 In Colorado On May 5

Aung La N Sang makes his way to the Circle at ONE Fight Night 6

ONE Championship’s first show on United States soil has been bolstered by the addition of former two-division ONE World Champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang.

The Myanmar hero has lived in America for 20 years, and he’ll compete in front of fans in his adopted country at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video on May 5.

That evening, Aung La N Sang will face Chinese powerhouse Fan Rong in a middleweight MMA clash at 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, with the bout rescheduled following Fan’s withdrawal from ONE Fight Night 6 in January.

Aung La N Sang has been on a tear since losing the ONE Middleweight and Light Heavyweight World Titles to Reinier de Ridder.

The 37-year-old has won three of his four outings, with each victory coming by way of first-round knockout.

He’s finished Leandro Ataides, Yushin Okami, and most recently Gilberto Galvao, while his lone defeat came in a tough decision against former middleweight king Vitaly Bigdash

For Fan, this is a massive chance to insert himself into the World Title picture for the first time.

The 29-year-old’s only promotional defeats have come to current or former ONE World Champions in De Ridder and Bigdash, and he’s earned a pair of wins over grappling legend Yuri Simoes and Sherif Mohamed

But while he owns a stellar 19-3 professional record, this will be the biggest fight of his career against an iconic opponent at ONE’s historic debut in the United States.

Adding to the excitement, both athletes will bring elite finishing abilities to the Circle.

They own 44 stoppages among their 48 combined MMA victories, so fans can expect high-octane action for as long as this epic middleweight contest lasts.

Stay tuned to onefc.com for all updates on ONE Fight Night 10, which is headlined by a ONE Flyweight World Title trilogy match between Demetrious Johnson and Adriano Moraes.
