Pancrase Lightweight World Champion Kazuki Tokudome was born and raised in Hachioji, in the western part of Tokyo. Both of his parents were civil servants, and he first started training judo in high school at the invitation of a friend.
Tokudome continued his training well after graduation, but his life would change one day when he had the privilege of entering the Saitama Super Arena as part of a team. He fell in love with the camaraderie and spirit of martial arts and decided to compete as a professional martial artist himself. The exciting Japanese warrior trains hard daily at Paraestra Hachioji, and he has developed into a well-rounded competitor with an impressive winning record – mostly finishes – over more than a decade in the cage.
Along the way, he claimed the Pancrase Lightweight World Championship, and he has even competed as far afield as North America. Now, he finds himself back in Asia with ONE Championship, and Tokudome is determined to make a huge impact on the global stage by becoming the ONE Lightweight World Champion.
