ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix Bracket Revealed
The historic ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix is ready to begin this Friday, 25 January.
In the first of four quarter-final matches set to take place in the first quarter of 2019, Honorio “The Rock” Banario will meet Lowen Tynanes at ONE: HERO’S ASCENT
Ahead of this clash in Manila, Philippines, the tournament bracket has been unveiled – revealing who the victor will face in a mouth-watering semi-final bout later in the year.
Whoever has their hand raised at the Mall Of Asia Arena will face the winner of Eddie “The Underground King” Alvarez’s meeting with Timofey Nastyukhin — which will take place at ONE: A NEW ERA in Tokyo, Japan, on 31 March — in the semi-finals.
The complexion of the other semi-final will be determined next month.
That match-up will feature the winners of two contests that will take place at ONE: CALL TO GREATNESS in Singapore on 22 February.
On that night at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Amir Khan will go head-to-head with Ariel “Tarzan” Sexton, and Ev “E.T.” Ting will take on Saygid “Dagi” Gusein Arslanaliev.
