History is about to be made, as ONE Championship will finally host the inaugural edition of its new monthly event series in Japan, ONE SAMURAI.
The world’s largest martial arts organization will broadcast ONE SAMURAI 1 live on pay-per-view from Tokyo’s Ariake Arena on Wednesday, April 29.
In the main event, Japanese legend Takeru “Natural Born Krusher” Segawa will compete for the very last time, as he’ll square off against Thai megastar Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon in a highly anticipated rematch for the ONE Interim Flyweight Kickboxing World Title.
Before that, ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Yuya “Little Piranha” Wakamatsu will defend his gold against Uzbek phenom Avazbek “Ninzya” Kholmirzaev.
Plus, ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka Yoshinari will put his crown on the line against longtime rival Songchainoi Kiatsongrit in a long-awaited rematch, and ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan “The General” Haggerty will defend his coveted belt against Japan’s own Yuki Yoza.
