Two-division ONE World Champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang and ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera engaged in a furious battle at ONE: CENTURY PART II in Tokyo, Japan last October.

In the second round of their ONE Light Heavyweight World Title contest, the Myanmar hero landed a volley of stiff punches that pushed “The Truth” back to the fence, and then, he found the mark with a spinning back elbow.

Vera tried to match him with his own spinning attack, but “The Burmese Python” ducked out of the way and then clubbed his rival with a hard overhand right, which sent him tumbling to the canvas.

Aung La N Sang sealed the deal with a final barrage of punches on the ground to retain the gold and hand the Filipino-American his first defeat in The Home Of Martial Arts.

A stunning head kick from Robin “The Ilonggo” Catalan was the highlight of the preliminary card at ONE: MASTERS OF FATE in November.

The Filipino strawweight battered Gustavo “El Gladiador” Balart’s body with his right kick in the second frame, and later, he took it up high in search of the finish.

Although the Cuban wrestler kept his left hand up to try to block the incoming strike, Catalan’s power blasted straight through his defenses.

His shin collided with the top of Balart’s head, and “The Ilonggo” sent him face-first to the mat for a memorable finish.

The strawweight match-up between the Philippines’ Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado and China’s Miao Li Tao at ONE: AGE OF DRAGONS in November started with some intense grappling exchanges, but it ended with a magnificent jumping knee.

Miao walked “The Jaguar” down with punches, causing the Filipino striker to backpedal. However, when Miado stopped to stand his ground, Miao continued to move forward, and that is when the Manila resident uncorked his aerial attack.

Miado jumped into the air with a picture-perfect right knee, which sliced straight through his opponent’s guard and landed on the chin.

The Chinese athlete instantly crumbled to the canvas, giving the Filipino rising star the unforgettable win.

#4 Li’s Nonstop Barrage Of Strikes

“The Underdog” Li Kai Wen immediately marked himself as a threat to every one of his peers in the bantamweight division when he dispatched Paul “The Great King” Lumihi at ONE: MASTERS OF FATE.

These two athletes engaged in some frenetic striking exchanges early in the opening stanza, but the Chinese warrior took control with his powerful boxing, and then a series of hard knees to the head.

Lumihi freed himself from his adversary’s attack, and then he tried to keep his rival away with a left kick and a left hand. But “The Underdog” wobbled him with a left hook in reply, and then tagged him with a straight right and a left.

The Indonesian shelled up from the onslaught, but Li found the room to thread a thunderous right uppercut through the middle for a clean KO.
