The Best Pictures From The Inner Circle 37
ONE Championship opened November with a bang, as The Inner Circle 37 delivered five MMA and Muay Thai matches filled with heart-stopping action from start to finish.
The blockbuster spectacle aired live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, November 6, and was streamed exclusively for members via live.onefc.com. This card had it all, from a knockout and razor-close decisions to a submission that will be talked about for years.
In the highly anticipated main event, Tye Ruotolo became the first person in ONE Championship history to simultaneously hold a submission grappling and an MMA World Title.
The 23-year-old American, who also reigns as the ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion, submitted two-division king Christian “The Warrior” Lee via rear-naked choke in just over two minutes. Not only did he win the ONE Lightweight MMA World Title, but that performance also earned Ruotolo a US$100,000 performance bonus.
The co-main event was a tightly contested battle that went to the judges, with Yodphupa Petkiatpet earning a split-decision win over Komawut FA Group.
Elsewhere on the card, undefeated striker Titus Proctor knocked out Maciej Karpinski in the third round of their lightweight Muay Thai clash. The finish earned Proctor a performance bonus, along with a life-changing US$100,000 contract and global roster spot.
