Java State Kickboxing Champion Dwi Ani Retno Wulan hails from Rembang on the Northeast coast of Central Java. She began training in boxing when she was 15 years old and proved talented enough to step into the ring for her first amateur bout less than six months later. Since that day, Wulan has dreamed of becoming a World Champion.
Over the next five years, she went on to compete in kickboxing, Muay Thai, submission grappling, and amateur mixed martial arts, finding success across the board. This ultimately led her to pursue a career as a professional combat sports athlete.
Wulan currently trains at Han Academy under the watchful eye of ONE veteran Yohan Mulia Legowo, who is gearing her up to take on the world’s best martial artists on the global stage. She professes that she lives and breathes martial arts, and she has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her dreams of World Title glory with no interest in anything else.
