The Stars Make Their Predictions For Stamp Fairtex Vs. Ham Seo Hee At ONE Fight Night 14

Stamp Fairtex vs. Ham Seo Hee

The matchup between Stamp Fairtex and “Hamzzang” Ham Seo Hee has captured the minds of ONE Championship fans and fighters alike.

The top-ranked contenders will clash for the ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title in the main event of ONE Fight Night 14 on Prime Video this Friday, September 29 – and it’s one of 2023’s most anticipated battles.

Stamp and Ham are both known for their consistently exciting styles, combining aggression with skill to deliver some memorable encounters.

There is also plenty at stake, with the Fairtex superstar aiming to become a historic three-sport queen and Ham looking to crown her decorated MMA career with a ONE World Title.

It almost guarantees a Fight of the Year contender at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, and most insiders expect a competitive bout that could go either way. However, not everybody is willing to sit on the fence.

Check out the Stamp vs. Ham predictions from some of ONE’s biggest names before the action gets underway in U.S. primetime.

Jarred Brooks

“I got Stamp all the way. She is really good.

“She is doing a good job of nullifying the wrestling and the jiu-jitsu out of people, and her Muay Thai and kickboxing is absolutely ridiculous. Everybody knows Stamp’s striking is out of this world, so I’m never counting her out.

“If Stamp does this, she’s gonna be a three-sport World Champion (along with Muay Thai and kickboxing). That would be really cool. She is never one to be slept on.”

Stephen Loman

“The striking edge belongs to Stamp because she came from Muay Thai. That’s her department. I think she’ll use that against Ham. I’ve also seen that Stamp is very adaptable. She quickly learned her ground game, and her training camp is a place where they can quickly improve their skills in MMA.

“Ham’s experience will be her advantage. She’s spent so much time in MMA, and that will be an advantage because she can use all of her prior experience when she takes on Stamp.

“I think someone will get knocked out here if they focus on their striking. If this fight hits the ground, I know that someone will be submitted.

“[If I have to pick], I would pick the veteran. I’m going with Ham.”

Superlek Kiatmoo9

“Stamp is a very talented fighter. I want Stamp to win this fight. She never gives up. She is committed to training. So I root for her in this fight.

“I think Stamp’s Muay Thai will have the advantage because she has been learning it since she was young. I admit I’m biased because I really want her to win.”

Rodtang Jitmuangnon

“For the Stamp vs. Ham Seo Hee matchup, I give them 50-50 odds. It depends on who is choking and who was choked.

“If Stamp [can win] and becomes an MMA World Champion, she will be the best role model for our next generation. She will be a good example for everyone who wants to have success in MMA like her. She may even inspire women around the world to practice martial arts.”

John Wayne Parr

“I have to go with Stamp. She’s so amazing. Just her whole philosophy in trying to dominate three different sports. She’s such an inspiration for males and females with what she’s doing, what she wants to achieve, and her focus to move forward and to accomplish these different things.

“I’m not sure [how she’ll win]. I’d be trying to keep it on the feet as long as I can to keep it in her best interests. But yeah, with how well she’s doing on the ground – she’s improved so much every time she fights – you never know where she’s at.

“She’s such a natural competitor. It wouldn’t surprise me if she won by some submission just to blow everyone’s minds.”

Martin Nguyen

“Stamp is a strong fighter, and Ham is a very strong, very game opponent. That fight is going to be fireworks for sure.

“Stamp’s my girl, so I can’t go against her, but Ham is not an easy opponent for her.”

Eduard Folayang

“I’ll go with Stamp. Looking into the fight, I’m not underestimating Ham, but you can see in her performances that Stamp was able to utilize her striking. I don’t know if she has another game plan, but if they fight in the striking, I think Stamp will have her hand raised.”

Xiong Jing Nan

“It will be an exciting and interesting fight. Both of them have their own styles, and I would say it will be 50-50. Taking advantage of opportunities is very important in this game.

“I am very interested in [facing the winner]. I have mentioned in many interviews before that I am willing to challenge for the World Championship again at atomweight.”

Nat ‘Wondergirl’ Jaroonsak

“It will be a top fight for sure because they both strike. Stamp has grappling, BJJ, and Muay Thai. I think her skill level is better than Ham’s, but Ham is super strong. She’s insanely strong for her division.

“So if Stamp can use all her skills for this fight, I think she will win. Or if Ham uses her strength for this fight, [she could win]. But I would say it’s Stamp.”
