Hiroyuki Tetsuka Vs. Jin Tae Ho Welterweight MMA Contest Added To ONE Fight Night 15

Hiroyuki Tetsuka can't contain his happiness after knocking out Edson Marques at ONE: ONLY THE BRAVE.

An exciting welterweight MMA tussle has been added to ONE Fight Night 15: Le vs. Freymanov on Prime Video in Bangkok, Thailand.

Hiroyuki “Japanese Beast” Tetsuka will square off with Jin “Camellia” Tae Ho in U.S. primetime this Friday, October 6, and their clash at Lumpinee Stadium could have major implications for both athletes.

Tetsuka has won back-to-back fights in the world’s largest martial arts organization, and another victory would push him further toward the top.

In his last two outings, “Japanese Beast” used powerful punches to finish both Agilan Thani and Edson Marques, pushing his ONE record to 3-1.

The 33-year-old has now won seven of his previous eight bouts overall, with the only blemish coming in a hard-fought decision against undefeated Russian contender Murad Ramazanov.

Another impressive outing would make a statement in the welterweight MMA ranks – especially if Tetsuka can add a ninth career knockout to his slate.

However, he won’t have it easy against Jin, who has never been knocked out in 17 professional fights.

“Camellia” burst into ONE Championship with a first-round submission of Thani last April, extending his winning streak to six after a dominant run in his native South Korea.

A defeat to Valmir da Silva in his sophomore outing halted his momentum, which means the 34-year-old is at a crucial juncture.

Jin knows he must get back on track if he wants to work toward the division’s upper echelon, where there are several dangerous contenders all vying for the top spot.

With reigning ONE Welterweight MMA World Champion Christian “The Warrior” Lee gearing up for a return in 2024 and exciting stars like Razamanov, Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam, and Roberto “Robocop” Soldic all eager to take the throne, the competition is fierce.

That means both Tetsuka and Jin will come into their matchup looking for a finish to leave a big impression on their peers and matchmakers.
