Eersel, Aliakbari, Todd, Juniku Confirmed For FISTS OF FURY Event Series

Regian Eersel holds the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title belt

After announcing a world-class striking card for ONE: FISTS OF FURY on Friday, 26 February, ONE Championship has revealed two exciting follow-up events with plenty more firepower.

First, on Friday, 5 March, the promotion will air ONE: FISTS OF FURY II from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

In the headline attraction, Iranian superstar Amir Aliakbari will make his highly anticipated promotional debut and kick-start his quest to challenge for Brandon “The Truth” Vera’s ONE Heavyweight World Championship belt.

In order to take that crucial first step, Aliakbari must get past “Mighty Warrior” Kang Ji Won, an undefeated South Korean rising star with enormous knockout power.

If Kang wants to enter this bout with Aliakbari with a clean slate, however, he will need to beat his fellow Iranian, Mehdi Barghi, at ONE: UNBREAKABLE III on Friday, 5 February.

The co-main event of ONE: FISTS OF FURY II will feature the debut of unbeaten Russian heavyweight Anatoly “Spartak” Malykhin, who’s finished all eight behemoths he’s faced.

Malykhin will step into the Circle against former ONE World Title challenger Alexandre “Bebezao” Machado, who will look to use his BJJ black belt skills to hand “Spartak” his first career loss.

After those colossal mixed martial arts contests in the sequel, the final FISTS OF FURY edition will feature four of the brightest warriors in ONE Super Series.

ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Champion Regian “The Immortal” Eersel will return to defend his crown in the main event of ONE: FISTS OF FURY III, which airs from Singapore on Friday, 19 March.

The Dutch-Surinamese kingpin will put his gold on the line against #5-ranked lightweight kickboxing contender Islam Murtazaev, who trains alongside familiar names Alaverdi “Babyface Killer” Ramazanov and Samy “AK47” Sana at Venum Training Camp.

The 19 March card will also see ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet “JT” Todd return to “the art of eight limbs.” The California native, who is ranked #2 in the atomweight Muay Thai division, will face off against #4-ranked contender Alma Juniku in a ONE Super Series Muay Thai contest.
