Nong-O Holds Off Kongthoranee In Fiery Trilogy

After producing fireworks in their first two encounters, Nong-O Hama and Kongthoranee Sor Sommai ended their flyweight Muay Thai trilogy with another gripping battle in the night’s co-main event.

The former longtime ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion immediately showed his intent, pressing forward with sharp punching combinations. Nong-O chained together punches and uppercuts before dropping his nemesis with a right hook for the fight’s first knockdown.

Kongthoranee, a former three-time Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, beat the count and responded strongly in the second canto, firing a left elbow before staggering the Thai legend with a high kick. Nong-O, meanwhile, found success with his measured head kicks and sharp left elbows in the clinch.

The momentum swung again in round three when Kongthoranee landed a heavy right hand that the 39-year-old legend absorbed. Moments later, the Sor Sommai and Silk Muay Thai athlete connected flush with a left hand that dropped the former bantamweight king for a knockdown.

With one knockdown apiece, the pair threw everything but the kitchen sink at one another in the closing minutes. When the bell sounded, all three judges at ringside awarded Nong-O the win.

His astonishing professional record now stands at 268-59. At the same time, it kept his hopes of another run toward ONE World Title gold alive.

Stamp Ekes Out Flores By Split Decision In Hard-Fought Battle

Former three-sport ONE World Champion Stamp Fairtex made a successful return to “the art of eight limbs,” edging out Cynthia Flores via split decision in their atomweight Muay Thai clash.

Flores immediately showcased her fast boxing combinations, targeting the head and body as she marched forward. Stamp managed the distance well, however, and responded with boxing combinations and kicks to interrupt the Mexican’s pressure.

The Mexican continued to push the pace in the second round, driving Stamp toward the ropes with her dirty boxing. Still, the Fairtex Training Center athlete remained composed, countering with right body kicks and sharp punches. When Flores briefly dropped her guard, the 28-year-old fired a left kick, but Flores absorbed it without flinching and continued advancing.

The pace remained high in the final round. Flores used dynamic footwork to close the distance before unleashing another series of rapid punches against the former three-sport queen. In the opposite corner, Stamp answered with her trademark middle kick.

Even when Flores caught the strike and fired back with multiple punches, the Thai remained composed and retaliated with heavy counters that found their mark.

After three rounds of closely contested action, Stamp received the nod from two of the three judges to secure a split decision victory and mark her Muay Thai return with a win, improving her overall record to 65-18.

In bantamweight Muay Thai action, Julio Lobo earned the 67th triumph of his career, defeating PTT Apichart Farm via TKO at 2:01 of the second round. The Brazilian completed a sensational comeback after being dropped in the opening frame.

Meanwhile, the event’s curtain-raiser saw Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree overcome former Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion “Elbow Zombie” Muangthai PK Saenchai via split decision in bantamweight Muay Thai, which improved his record to 77-33.
