Cynthia Flores carries the hopes of an entire nation. One victory at a time, she’s fighting to become Mexico’s first ONE World Champion.

Born and raised in Mexico City alongside four sisters, Flores experienced an unconventional childhood that shaped her resilient character. She spent four formative years living with her grandmother before returning to stay with her parents, an experience that instilled the independence and toughness that would later define her fighting spirit.

Her martial arts journey began in high school when she first stepped into a Muay Thai gym. What started as practical self-defense training quickly evolved into a consuming passion, as Flores discovered her natural talent for “the art of eight limbs.” After gaining experience through amateur competition, Flores made her professional debut at just 18 years old, beginning a career that would take her across the globe.

Initially competing close to home, Flores built her reputation throughout Mexico’s vibrant Muay Thai scene. However, her ambitions extended far beyond her homeland. In 2019, she made the pilgrimage to Thailand for the first time, immersing herself in the birthplace of Muay Thai to train and test her skills against elite combatants.

Returning to North America, Flores embarked on an impressive winning streak that elevated her profile significantly. She starred in one of America’s biggest Muay Thai shows and captured Mexico’s most prestigious Muay Thai belt, establishing herself as one of the continent’s premier strikers.

Her journey came full circle in 2024 when she returned to Thailand for another challenging run. This time, she faced even tougher opponents that laid the crucial foundations for her biggest victories upon returning home.

Now, Flores makes her promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 33, ready to showcase her skills on the global stage for martial arts.
