Saemapetch To Face New Opponent In ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH Co-Main Event

Saemapetch Fairtex defeats Ognjen Topic

Saemapetch Fairtex will have to adjust his preparation for ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH once again as he is set to face a new opponent in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

This Friday, 6 September, the MTGP World Champion will meet Adam Noi in the co-headline bout at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in a ONE Super Series bantamweight Muay Thai contest.

The French-Algerian may only have a week to prepare to compete on the biggest stage of his career, but his history in the ring suggests that he is well-equipped to adapt to the challenge.

In July, the 20-year-old won three bouts in just four days to win his second IFMA Muay Thai World Championship in Bangkok, Thailand.

The representative of Venum Training Camp Thailand in Pattaya is also 44-6 as a professional, has experience against top Thai opponents, and has competed at the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium.

Saemapetch is not concerned by any short-notice changes in his opponents. The 24-year-old – who has a perfect 3-0 record in ONE Championship so far — says he is always ready for whatever challenges that come his way.

The representative of Fairtex Training Center also believes he should be a frontrunner to challenge for a World Title in his division if he can get his hand raised again.

ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH is set to be a groundbreaking event for The Home Of Martial Arts as it makes its inaugural trip to Vietnam and promotes an all-ONE Super Series bout card for the first time.

The main event will see Nong-O Gaiyanghadao make the second defense of his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title against Brice “The Truck” Delval.
