Petchmorakot Hopes To Cement His Status In Clash With Yodsanklai

Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy makes his entrance at at ONE EDGE OF GREATNESS

ONE Championship is set to return on Friday, 31 July with ONE: NO SURRENDER, and the card will feature Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy’s first defense of his ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship.

The Thai star captured the inaugural World Title this past February with a unanimous decision win over his compatriot, Pongsiri PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym.

Now, #5-ranked contender “The Boxing Computer” Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex will be looking to take the belt with a marquee victory on the global stage.

In an Instagram post on Monday, 29 June, Petchmorakot noted the challenge Yodsanklai will pose and stated how important it will be to defend his gold against a true legend of the sport.

“I would like to be accepted again from everyone that I am the best Muay Thai fighter in this division,” the reigning king said.

That is certainly the question on everyone’s mind, and this exciting contest will go a long way toward determining both of these athletes’ legacies in The Home Of Martial Arts.
