ONE: HEART OF HEROES In Ho Chi Minh City Postponed To June

With the ongoing coronavirus outbreak still causing issues around the world, ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong has announced the postponement of the scheduled ONE: HEART OF HEROES event in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The promotion’s priority is the health and safety of all athletes, staff, and fans – as well as the community at large in Vietnam – so the card at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium has been moved from Friday, 20 March to Friday, 26 June.

Sityodtong revealed the news on Facebook on Friday, 6 March, after discussions with Vietnamese government officials.

The event was set to feature Alaverdi “Babyface Killer” Ramazanov vs. Nong-O Gaiyanghadao for the ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title, and Viktoria Lipianska vs. Iman “Pretty Killer” Barlow for the vacant ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title.

Rescheduled dates for these blockbuster bouts, and the rest of the card’s match-ups, will be confirmed in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for further updates.
