Lito Adiwang, Janet Todd, Jarred Brooks Added To ‘ONE On TNT II’

Philippine mixed martial artist Lito Adiwang is ready for war in the Circle!

There have been some pivotal changes made to ONE Championship’s second blockbuster event in the “ONE on TNT” series.

After injuries forced a number of athletes to withdraw from their matchups on Wednesday, 14 April, other superstars stepped up to fill those spots – and the “ONE on TNT II” card looks even hotter than before.

In addition to the exciting main and co-main events, the fiery main card will now feature the return of ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet “JT” Todd, who is continuing her chase for two-sport gold.

Todd, who is also the #2-ranked atomweight Muay Thai contender, is riding a five-bout winning streak. She returned to Muay Thai competition this past Friday and defeated the division’s #4-ranked contender, Alma Juniku, at ONE: FISTS OF FURY III.

At “ONE on TNT II,” the American will look to extend her spectacular run against #3-ranked atomweight Muay Thai contender Anne “Ninja” Line Hogstad.

Whoever wins this clash could earn a shot at reigning atomweight Muay Thai queen Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.

Additionally, the lead card for “ONE on TNT II” now features a pair of new mixed martial arts fights, including the main event.

Headlining the lead card is the highly anticipated promotional debut of American sensation Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks.

Brooks owns a stellar 16-2 (1 NC) professional record, with half of those victories coming via submission or knockout.

On 14 April, he’ll meet Filipino rising star Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang, who owns a 12-3 record and a startling 92 percent finishing rate. Fans last saw the Team Lakay product at ONE: UNBREAKABLE in January, where he knocked out Team Alpha Male’s Namiki Kawahara.

Finally, Canadian heavyweight destroyer Dustin Joynson was originally scheduled to headline the lead card against Islam Abasov, but the Russian knockout artist has withdrawn from the contest.

Replacing him is Kirill Grishenko, an undefeated Belarusian mammoth who owns a perfect 100 percent finishing rate.
