Angela Lee Vs. Xiong Jing Nan III To Headline ONE On Prime Video 2 On September 30

Angela Lee challenges Xiong Jing Nan in a trilogy bout for the strawweight belt at ONE on Prime Video 2

The greatest women’s MMA fighters in ONE Championship history will settle their longtime rivalry in a World Title trilogy showdown in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 2.

On Friday, September 30, reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee will challenge “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan for the ONE Women’s Strawweight World Title at the Singapore Indoor Stadium – live in North American primetime.

If history is any indication, fans should prepare for an absolute barnburner.

These women warriors initially met in the headline attraction of ONE: A NEW ERA in March 2019. In that fight, Lee put her undefeated MMA record on the line and looked to become the first two-division queen in ONE history by challenging Xiong at strawweight.

“Unstoppable” had the Chinese superstar in trouble multiple times throughout that contest and nearly submitted her in the fourth round. But in the fifth and final stanza, “The Panda” knocked out Lee to retain her belt.

Then in October 2019, it was Xiong’s chance to earn double-gold when she moved down to atomweight and challenged the Singaporean-American at ONE: CENTURY PART I.

Like their initial encounter, the rematch featured explosive back-and-forth action and an epic conclusion.

Although “The Panda” threatened with her fierce strikes, Lee hung tough and ultimately earned a dramatic rear-naked choke submission win with just 12 seconds remaining in the fifth and final round.

Since that time, both competitors have been flawless.

Lee is coming off a massive victory at ONE X, where she submitted former two-sport ONE World Champion and recent ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Champion Stamp Fairtex.

Meanwhile, Xiong is riding a three-bout winning streak, dominating each of Tiffany Teo, Michelle Nicolini, and Ayaka Miura to retain her crown.

Now, all roads lead back to this rubber match at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, where Lee will have a second chance to make history.
