‘I’m Coming For Him’ – Ben Tynan Aims For Anatoly Malykhin After Dominant Win Over Duke Didier

Ben “Vanilla Thunder” Tynan caught the attention of the heavyweight MMA elite with another stunning performance at ONE Fight Night 21: Eersel vs. Nicolas on Prime Video.

The Canadian phenom demolished Duke “The Duke of Canberra” Didier with a first-round TKO on April 5, bagging his second ONE win and extending his professional record to 6-0 with six finishes.

Given Didier’s experience and world-class grappling expertise, many thought Tynan might get pushed into deeper waters.

However, “Vanilla Thunder” dropped his opponent with a heavy right elbow before sealing the deal with devastating ground-and-pound after just 2:36 of action.

The 30-year-old spoke to onefc.com post-fight:

“It was a pretty damn good performance. I’m satisfied. I don’t think I got hit. I took him out in a clean fashion and got to show off some of my striking. So, I’m super happy about that.”

After the win, Tynan used his time on the mic with Mitch Chilson to call out ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion Anatoly “Sladkiy” Malykhin.

Referencing the Russian’s most recent victory over Reinier “The Dutch Knight” de Ridder for the middleweight MMA crown – making him a historic three-division World Champion – “Vanilla Thunder” vowed to “whoop” Malykhin if they ever go head-to-head.

Believing “Sladkiy” is too small for true heavyweights, Tynan said:

“He’s a middleweight. Let’s be real.

“I’m 100 percent coming for him. Whether this win is enough, or whether I might have to put another fight or two on my resume, considering he is the champion, I’m coming for him.”

Tynan Tells Fans: ‘If You’re Not Part Of Team Vanilla, Jump On’

Ben Tynan was born in Canada, raised partly in the USA, and now trains out of Denver, Colorado, where ONE Championship will return on September 6.

ONE 168: Denver looks set to feature a stacked card, and “Vanilla Thunder” thinks it would be the perfect place to continue building his momentum toward the heavyweight MMA gold.

He said:

“I would love to get on that Denver card. That would be awesome. I’ve got a lot of family and friends who’ve been really wanting to come support me, who can’t really make the trip out here to Thailand, so to get noisy up in Denver would be a lot of fun.

“Send anyone you want. Line them up if you have to. I’ll knock them all down.”

Following two impressive victories in the world’s largest martial arts organization, Tynan’s star is growing rapidly among the global fan base. His skills and charisma combine to offer up a unique package that has garnered him a lot of new supporters.

Still, he’s urging others to get on board because he believes this is just the start of a meteoric rise – one that will lead to the very top:

“Thanks so much for the support, guys. If you’re not part of Team Vanilla, jump on. Because you don’t want to miss the bandwagon.

“You want to get on it while it’s early because big things are coming. So jump on, let’s do this!”
