ONE Friday Fights 167 Main Event Result: Kongsuk Earns Hard-Fought Redemption Against Dedduanglek
Two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kongsuk Sitsarawatsuer got the better of Dedduanglek Torfunfarm via split decision in their bantamweight Muay Thai main event rematch at ONE Friday Fights 167 in Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, August 21.
Dedduanglek came out firing kicks early in this Asia primetime duel, but the 26-year-old Sitsarawatseur representative answered in kind, and the two traded techniques back and forth throughout the opening round, testing each other’s reactions and defense.
Neither man landed anything of significance until Dedduanglek exploded into an elbow attack after pinning his rival near the turnbuckle.

Round two saw the pair looking like mirror images of each other as they continued trading kicks, but Dedduanglek eventually broke the deadlock, catching kicks and countering with punches. Kongsuk was forced to evade on one leg at times, leaving him off-balance and unable to land anything clean.
Kongsuk, however, found his rhythm in the third and final round, driving knees into the TDed99 athlete’s midsection. From the outside, the Thai also found a home for his kicks through his foe’s guard, racking up enough points before the final bell.
His late surge proved the difference, as two of the three judges at ringside saw the match in favour of him. Kongsuk has now rattled off wins in seven of his last nine appearances and continued building his case for the promotion’s US$100,000 main roster contract, all while nudging his record to 71-21.
Above all, he avenged a unanimous decision defeat he picked up against Dedduanglek at ONE Friday Fights 35 back in September 2023.
