ONE Championship brought another exciting night of martial arts action to the Singapore Indoor Stadium with ONE 157: Petchmorakot vs. Vienot this past Friday, 20 May.

The main event featured a hard-fought battle between Petchmorakot Petchyindee and Jimmy Vienot. Although the Frenchman controlled the early frames, the Thai’s fourth-round knockdown gave him the edge and helped him to retain the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title via split decision.

Meanwhile, Joseph Lasiri completed his Cinderella story by defeating Prajanchai PK.Saenchai for the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Championship. The Italian-Moroccan was on point with his strikes, forcing the former titleholder to raise the white flag after three rounds.

Also, ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Superlek Kiatmoo9, Walter Goncalves, and Savvas Michael won their respective matches to advance to the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix semifinals.

In addition, the Ruotolo brothers had successful ONE Championship debuts. Kade Ruotolo dominated Shinya Aoki all throughout the single 10-minute submission grappling round, while his twin brother, Tye, forced Garry Tonon to tap out via D’Arce choke in a record-setting 97 seconds.
