Ibragim Dauev splits his time training mixed martial arts in the North Caucasus region of Chechnya at Fight Club Akhmat and in Thailand’s southern province of Phuket with One Chance.
Displaying a thirst for competition, he made his professional MMA debut in 2019 and went on a near-flawless run through the Russian circuit, finishing seven of his nine opponents both with strikes and submissions.
Dauev then took his diverse skill set to ONE Championship in January 2024, where he battled long-time promotional standout Mark Abelardo in a three-round thriller.
Scoring the unanimous decision win, Dauev proved he has what it takes to compete with the elite bantamweight mixed martial artists in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
