Training out of Moscow, Russia, Akbar Abdullaev entered ONE Championship with an impressive record and supportive fan base. And, with his military background, the Kyrgyzstani sensation continually demonstrates that he has the mental fortitude to overcome any challenges in martial arts.

“Bakal” joined The Home of Martial Arts with an impeccable 8-0 professional MMA record. By the time he was just 25 years old, he achieved seven first-round KO/TKO finishes. Only one of his bouts had gone to the second round, which he swiftly ended by submission to give him a 100 percent finishing rate.

Drawing inspiration from fellow Kyrgyzstani MMA star and former ONE Welterweight World Champion Kiamrian “Brazen” Abbasov, Abdullaev has set his sights on the ONE Featherweight World Title. With his deep skill set and knowledgeable fight IQ, he hopes to make his mark in the featherweight division and go down in history as one of the greatest fighters to ever step inside the Circle.
