MTGP and WMC Muay Thai World Champion Charlie Peters grew up playing rugby, and only trained in Muay Thai at first to improve his fitness for the pitch. He later quit rugby when he was 18 years old due to work commitments, but soon found himself being drawn more and more to Muay Thai. He steadily began increasing his training, and eventually moved to the martial art’s birthplace of Thailand to hone his skills even further.
After spending an extended period of time in Thailand, Peters returned home to England, and immediately put his enhanced skills to good use. He quickly racked up several British and English national Muay Thai titles to his name, and despite his age, has already won Muay Thai World Titles while competing against some of the biggest names in the ring such as Liam Harrison and Pakorn P.K.Saenchaimuaythaigym.
Now based in London, Peters is ranked as the very best in the United Kingdom under both Muay Thai and K-1 rules. He brings nearly 50 wins with 30 knockouts into his ONE Championship debut, and is prepared for the ultimate test of his skills against the world’s best strikers in ONE Super Series.
