Muay Thai athletes often speak of their punishing leg conditioning routines, which include kicking banana trees to strengthen their shins.

ONE Middleweight and Light Heavyweight World Champion “The Burmese Python” Aung La N Sang has shown he can match these masters in power and more.

In a video shared on the official ONE Championship Facebook page, the Myanmar martial arts hero chops down a tree with just the power of a powerful left kick.

The clip has attracted millions of views in a mere matter of days online.

Aung La N Sang is naturally a right-footed, orthodox athlete, so it is no surprise he knocked out Alexandre Machado with his stronger right head kick to win the ONE Light Heavyweight World Title in February this year.

The 33-year-old is currently preparing for his next assignment – the second defense of his ONE Middleweight World Title against undefeated Lebanese challenger, Mohammad “O Lutador” Karaki.

That contest will serve as the main event of  ONE: PURSUIT OF GREATNESS on Friday, 26 October, at Yangon’s Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Aung La N Sang’s home country of Myanmar.
