Superlek Vs. Abdulla Dayakaev Muay Thai Battle Added To The Inner Circle On May 15

Superlek vs Abdulla Dayakaev

Following the announcement of Kade Ruotolo’s blockbuster lightweight MMA clash, ONE has revealed another explosive bout for The Inner Circle on Friday, May 15, as Thai striking megastar “The Kicking Machine” Superlek takes on Russian knockout artist Abdulla “Smash Boy” Dayakaev in a bantamweight Muay Thai showdown.

The matchup streams live exclusively for members on live.onefc.com, adding star power and finishing ability to a developing card.

The bout showcases one of Muay Thai’s most accomplished World Champions seeking redemption after recent setbacks. Superlek brings a 139-31 professional record and 15-3 promotional mark into this clash.

A mainstay of ONE since 2019, he has established himself as one of the organization’s most decorated strikers. Superlek previously held two-sport, two-division World Champion status as the reigning flyweight kickboxing king and former bantamweight Muay Thai ruler.

The 30-year-old stands as the only fighter to defeat Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon in all-striking bouts in ONE.

His resume includes wins over seven-time Muay Thai World Champion “The Angel Warrior” Panpayak Jitmuangnon, former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane, Japanese megastar Takeru “Natural Born Crusher” Segawa, and ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Haggerty.

A muay femur known for exceptional technical skills and fight IQ, Superlek has made his name with lightning-fast right kicks that have devastated opponents throughout his career. He opened his ONE run explosively, winning 15 of his first 16 bouts.

His last two outings, however, brought consecutive defeats — a Muay Thai loss to Anane and a kickboxing setback against Yuki Yoza. A statement victory here is overdue.

Standing across from him is a dangerous Russian finisher eager to derail the legend’s comeback.

Dayakaev hails from Dagestan and trains in Pattaya, representing Team Mehdi Zatout with a 15-3 career record. The aggressive striker carries an 8-2 promotional mark with six finishes.

He made his ONE Friday Fights debut in 2023 with explosive intent, securing four consecutive victories before suffering a close decision loss. Dayakaev responded with another four-fight winning streak, earning a six-figure main roster contract in the process.

His most recent outing brought a harsh reality check. In January, he suffered a second-round knockout loss against Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon, who later defeated Anane to capture the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship.

Two fighters searching for a statement win. Two finishers with nothing to hold back. May 15 cannot come soon enough.
