Prajanchai Vs. Aliff Strawweight Muay Thai World Title Unification Bout Confirmed For The Inner Circle 43
One undisputed crown, and two World Champions determined to claim it. Prajanchai Pongsuphan PK and Aliff Sor Dechapan are finally set to battle at The Inner Circle 43.
Prajanchai, the reigning divisional king, and the interim titleholder will meet in a ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title unification match on Friday, December 18. The blockbuster showdown emanates live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium and streams exclusively for subscribers at live.onefc.com.
This monumental five-round clash has been nearly a year in the making.
Aliff originally earned his shot at the Thai star’s 26 pounds of gold after he beat Lebanese dynamo Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash via unanimous decision at ONE Fight Night 38 in December 2025.
Fate, however, had other plans, as Prajanchai picked up an injury months after his ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title rematch against Jonathan Di Bella at ONE Fight Night 36 in October 2025. The Thai underwent surgery, which forced him out of action for an extended period.
Rather than wait on the sidelines, Aliff continued to move forward, ultimately knocking out the legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao in a performance for the ages to capture the ONE Interim Strawweight Muay Thai World Championship at The Inner Circle 23 this past July.
The PK Saenchai Muaythaigym athlete, meanwhile, just eased his way back into competition. He made his return at The Inner Circle 35, falling just short to “The Warrior” Wang Junguang via razor-close split decision in a strawweight kickboxing tilt.

With his gloves warmed up, Prajanchai is ready to remind the world why he has long been the gold standard of the strawweight Muay Thai division.
The Bangkok resident owns a staggering 344 career victories and once reigned as a two-sport ONE World Champion, holding the strawweight kickboxing crown alongside the Muay Thai gold he still defends today.
When he is in full flight, few can keep up. During a scintillating six-fight tear, he outpointed Di Bella in their first kickboxing encounter and finished both Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and Joseph Lasiri.
Behind those results is a fight IQ that sets him apart from everyone else. The 32-year-old controls distance with a sharp teep, reads his opponents’ rhythm within moments, and punishes every small lapse. Whether a fight ends early or goes the distance, he always seems to have the answers.
Standing in his way, however, is a 22-year-old who has already made history once this year. That moment arrived in July, when Aliff knocked out Sam-A in the fifth round to become the first Malaysian to capture a World Title in ONE Championship.
The performance earned him a US$50,000 bonus and a hero’s welcome back home, where the entire nation, including Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, celebrated his triumph.
His win over the Thai legend stretched his winning streak to six and lifted his record to 63-9, with six of his 10 promotional wins arriving in highlight-reel fashion. Power aside, it is his poise that stands out.
The Sor Dechapan representative uses his rangy frame to keep opponents at the end of his shots, chops away at the body with his left kick, and waits for the perfect moment to strike back.
