Some kids grow into their calling. Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash was raised inside it.
Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Ondash first stepped onto the mats at just three and a half years old, training alongside his eldest brother, Ahmad, in the family gym. He admits he didn’t love the sport at first, but Ahmad refused to let him quit, and by the age of nine or 10, that reluctance had transformed into genuine passion.
At 10, Ondash walked into Tiger Muay Thai with his other older brother, Abdallah, for the first time. “The Scorpion” also made his professional debut that year, and even though he dropped a decision to a far bigger and more experienced opponent, the setback only lit a fire inside of him.
Ondash studied in Lebanon until he was 16, then moved to Germany before returning home in 2023. That homecoming marked a turning point. A kickboxing bout in Japan reignited his momentum, and soon he was testing himself against the best in Thailand, the spiritual home of Muay Thai.
The results spoke for themselves. Ondash went a perfect 4-0 on the ONE Friday Fights circuit, and that flawless run earned him a coveted six-figure ONE Championship contract.
Fighting, though, runs far deeper than ambition for the young phenom. His older brothers, Ahmad and Abdallah, are both Muay Thai practitioners, with Abdallah earning his own ONE contract through the ONE Friday Fights platform in 2025. Their father, a Turkish former wrestler, laid the foundation for a household built on combat sports. Should Ondash ever capture a ONE World Title, he already knows exactly who it belongs to – he plans to dedicate the gold to Ahmad, the brother who kept him in the sport.
For a fighter forged in his family’s gym when he could barely walk, Ondash is only getting started.
