Pacio, Folayang, Kingad Predict ONE: FIRE & FURY Bouts
The top Filipino stars of ONE: FIRE & FURY sat down with ONE Championship commentator Michael “The Voice” Schiavello to look forward to their bouts with just two days to go before they step in the Circle.
This Friday, 31 January, five members of Baguio City’s Team Lakay will compete for the first time in 2020 in front of their compatriots at Manila’s Mall Of Asia Arena, and that group includes a national hero in the main event.
The headline match-up will see Joshua “The Passion” Pacio attempt to defend the ONE Strawweight World Title for the second time against Alex “Little Rock” Silva, and he broke down the contest with his teammates.

The four-way interview also features analysis from Danny “The King” Kingad about his match with “The Hunter” Xie Wei and how he was made more confident in his abilities after his performance against Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson.

The former ONE Lightweight World Champion also reacts to his inclusion in a recent list of his nation’s 50 greatest-ever athletes that was curated by one of its most popular newspapers.
Pacio also weighed in with his views about his role model’s honor.
“[It‘s] very inspiring. Just to train with him is already a privilege. When you’re with him it’s like you’re a part of it. For me, it’s a blessing,” he says.
