There is something in the Tokyo air every autumn – a crispness, a change in the wind, and a sense that something significant is about to happen. On Saturday, October 17, the world’s largest martial arts organization delivers on that feeling with ONE SAMURAI 4, which emanates live from the Ariake Arena.

One of Tokyo’s most iconic venues will play host to Japan’s most celebrated martial arts icons, the nation’s most exciting rising stars, and a star-studded cast of international superstars competing across MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing.

In the main event, reigning ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Haggerty returns to “The Land of the Rising Sun” for his third title defense and looks to extend his perfect run in the sport.

But former divisional king Hiroki Akimoto has dreamed of reclaiming the belt since he lost it four years ago – and with this golden opportunity presenting itself on home soil, the Japanese star is more motivated than ever to leave Ariake Arena as the World Champion.

The co-main event is equally compelling. ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka Yoshinari has bulldozed through every challenger in his path and built an extraordinary 42-bout winning streak, and now, he puts his gold on the line in his latest World Title defense.

Malaysian challenger Rifdean Masdor, however, arrives in Tokyo with his confidence at an all-time high and the unshakable belief that he can do the unimaginable – dethrone a generational talent and leave as Muay Thai’s new atomweight kingpin.

The occasion also marks the ONE Championship Hall of Fame ceremony of ONE Interim Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion and three-division K-1 Champion Takeru “Natural Born Krusher” Segawa.

So, mark your calendar, put a reminder in your phone, buy your tickets for ONE SAMURAI 4, and be part of a historic night in Tokyo on October 17.
