ONE Friday Fights 174 Main Event Result: Dedduanglek Delivers Career-Best Knockout Of Mongkoldetlek
Dedduanglek Torfunfarm vowed to bring a new dimension to his game, and he kept his word, stopping fellow Thai slugger Mongkoldetlek Por Pim-on with a knockout at 1:26 of round two in their bantamweight Muay Thai main event at ONE Friday Fights 174.
With the highlight-reel finish, live in Asia primetime, in Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, October 9, the 23-year-old improved his all-striking record to 60-16.
The TDed99 martial artist wasted no time, ripping boxing combinations into the Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion’s body and head. The 31-year-old Por Pim-on representative did test his opponent’s reactions with high kicks, but Dedduanglek used sharp footwork to angle off and box him up with hooks and straights that snapped his head in the opening frame.

Dedduanglek stuck to the same blueprint when action resumed in the second stanza. He hammered his foe from the left side with head kicks, while Mongkoldetlek pressed forward hunting for the overhand right. Again, the younger Thai used his footwork to escape and retaliate from the outside.
A left hook to the body then sent Mongkoldetlek reeling backward, and Dedduanglek went straight back to the same target. With Mongkoldetlek trying to fight his way out of trouble, a six-piece combination separated his spirit from his body, and he slowly faded toward the canvas as the referee dove in to wave it off.
The knockout was a statement that cannot be ignored. Beating a former contracted ONE Championship athlete puts Dedduanglek firmly on course for a US$100,000 main roster contract.
