ONE Championship Signs Undefeated Kickboxing Phenom Samet Agdeve

Turkish kickboxer Samet Agdeve

Samet “The King” Agdeve, one of Europe’s brightest young heavyweight strikers, is coming to the world’s largest martial arts organization.

The undefeated Turkish knockout artist has officially signed with ONE Championship, and now, he looks to begin his quest for World Title gold.

Agdeve, who owns a flawless 17-0 record with 12 knockout victories, brings some dazzling credentials into the promotion.

The 21-year-old phenom is a WAKO Junior World Champion and a WAKO European Champion, and most recently, he captured the SENSHI Heavyweight Grand Prix Title.

That triumphant run through the Grand Prix went down in Varna, Bulgaria, this past Saturday, September 13.

Across three bouts in a single evening, Agdeve showed every facet of his game.

The Turkish powerhouse blasted past Ali Badawi with an overhand right to earn a first-round TKO, and then he dug deep against Gerardo Atti, wearing him down with alternating hook shots before landing the decisive knockout blow in the third and final stanza.

In the finale, Agdeve went the distance with Rhys Brudenell. He overwhelmed the Englishman with raw power and composure beyond his years to claim the SENSHI Heavyweight Grand Prix Championship via unanimous decision.

Agdeve also stunned fans back in July when he stopped former ONE Championship athlete Giannis Stoforidis in the opening frame – a statement win that underlined his ability to finish even the most battle-tested opponents.

Now, with his signature dried on his ONE Championship contract, Agdeve enters the global spotlight. “The King” brings youth, momentum, and immense knockout power to the ring, and he is expected to make his first promotional appearance in the coming months.
