Prepare for some big news when ONE Championship arrives in Tokyo, Japan, for a historic press conference on Thursday, 23 August.

The organization’s Chairman and CEO, Chatri Sityodtong has announced a huge squad of athletes will join him in the Park Hyatt Hotel for some “massive announcements.”

ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee, ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes, and ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera will be among the mixed martial artists in attendance.

They will be joined by ONE Super Series heroes Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan and Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, legends like of Renzo Gracie, as well as several Japanese stars, and hundreds of members of the media.

The event is expected to confirm the promotion’s debut in The Land Of The Rising Sun next year, along with a number of World Championship match-ups for the rest of 2018.
