Kickboxing, Muay Thai World Title Fights To Headline ONE: RELOADED On 22 April

Regian Eersel poses with the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Championship at ONE: WINTER WARRIORS.

Following ONE Championship’s historic 10th-anniversary card at ONE X, the world’s largest martial arts organization is keeping the momentum rolling with ONE: RELOADED on Friday, 22 April.

The event will be headlined by two World Title bouts in the all-striking ONE Super Series, with one dominant king putting his gold on the line and another division crowning its inaugural queen.

Before the rest of the bill is unveiled, let’s take a look at the main and co-main event matchups that will headline the proceedings at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Regian Eersel Defends Lightweight Kickboxing World Title Against Arian Sadikovic

ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Champion Regian Eersel has dominated the division ever since his debut back in May 2018, posting a 6-0 record on the global stage.

The Dutch-Surinamese star defeated Nieky Holzken to win the inaugural strap a year later, and he’s racked up three successful World Title defenses so far.

However, Arian Sadikovic is determined to capture the coveted crown.

The German striker made a big statement in his ONE debut last December when he overwhelmed former World Title challenger Mustapha Haida to earn this shot at Eersel.

“Game Over” is a fearsome puncher who likes to pressure his opponents, although that aggression won’t faze “The Immortal,” who never backs down from a firefight.

This matchup has all the making of a classic given the pair’s assertive, intense styles.

Is Sadikovic the man to overthrow the seemingly unstoppable king, or will Eersel extend his reign with a fourth successful ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title defense?

Jackie Buntan, Smilla Sundell Meet For Inaugural Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai Gold

The inaugural ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title will be contested by two young, hungry athletes in Jackie Buntan and Smilla Sundell.

Buntan is a teammate of ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet Todd and wants to bring another strap home to their Boxing Works gym in the United States.

The 24-year-old has notched a trio of impressive victories in three ONE Super Series appearances, which earned her this chance to compete for the belt.

Along the way, she’s showcased the slick, sharp striking that her California gym has become known for, taking out dangerous contenders like Ekaterina Vandaryeva and Wondergirl Fairtex

Sundell only debuted in February, but her destructive showing against Diandra Martin instantly made her a top contender in the women’s strawweight Muay Thai division.

At just 17 years old, the Swedish phenom could become the youngest World Champion in ONE Super Series history, but she’ll be pushed to the limit against Buntan.

Both women have strong, well-rounded skill sets and the kind of punching power that can stop any opponent. With so much at stake, this World Title affair is sure to bring both of them to the next level.
